Rotel RSX-1550 A/V receivers

A/V receivers seem to grow in features and capabilities by the minute. Rotel’s latest offering in its 15 series, the seven-channel RSX-1550 ($1,999), includes a host of desirable features. It has 100 watts (times five) of onboard Class A/B power, provides Faroudja video processing, and decodes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The RSX-1550 also includes four HDMI 1.3 inputs. Plus, this fully outfitted A/V receiver gives you the ability to expand to 7.1 channels by adding an RB-1562 two-channel amplifier ($799).
